HEY!!

I think all of you know the situation today about the COVID-19 and it's really sad to be quarantined, however, most of the time I have spent watching old classic films and I have found that I really enjoy them. Another activity I totally love doing is baking so this time is perfect for that.
Today I will be sharing with you a recipe for tasty cinnamon rolls that are VEGAN. It's really simple to make and it doesn't require a lot of ingredients which is convenient.

VEGAN CINNAMON ROLLS:
Mix 35gr of yeast (fresh, not dry) with  3/4 spoons of white sugar and 75ml of warm water. Leave for around 5 minutes. Then add 150ml of oil of your choice, 285ml of warm plant-based milk ( I used oat milk ), a little bit of salt and lastly add flour as much as you need to make the dough and knead it for a little while. Then leave it for an hour to rise in warm place. After the time roll out dough into an oval shape just like pizza. Add soft butter (vegan) all over it and sprinkle white / brown sugar and cinnamon over it. Roll it out and cut into slices and each every slice soften with your fingers to stretch it a bit. Add the rolls to a baking tray which also needs to be covered in butter and leave to rise for 20 minutes. After that bake until rolls are brown and your kitchen smells like bakery over 180°C. I have added some experimental glaze on top of it made of coconut cream, powdered sugar, vegan butter and vanilla extract. It all soaks up into the rolls which makes it even better. That is all and they are delicious, even the day after!

If you ever try these don't forget to send me a photo how it turned out over my Instagram.

love, Bernadeta <3
