5 HEALTHY HABITS YOU NEED TO START DOING

Sunday, October 14, 2018

HEY, loves!
Let's make a little change at a time and, if you think that these little things will not do anything, you are really wrong. You need to start from something and if that something is everything you can get scared of it really easily and then throw that idea off. If you don't want that to happen, you need to start by little baby steps. So, now I will share some of my best healthy habits that I think everyone can do!

- WATER -
The first thing you can and should do in the morning is to drink a glass of water. Drinking water is super good for you and has many benefits and I think everyone knows that, but drinking water in the morning can boost your energy as must and higher than coffee would. I try to have a glass of water every morning before school and this way I don't forget to take my vitamins. I recommend switching your morning coffee with water just a few times and see yourself if you will feel the difference!

- EATING OUT -
When you are out with your friends or family and eating at the restaurants can be a bit difficult, because you can order literally everything and you don't even know the ingredients in it. So, always try to order something healthier than you should order. This can be as simple as choosing water over soda or some other drink. Or ordering something with vegetables and fruits and not pizza. I try to do this as much as I can and sometimes I succeed and sometimes I don't.

- SNACKS -
If you have a long busy work day always pack some snacks with you. You will not only save some money not buying any sort of snacks at the shop, but you can pack what you like and that is good for you and your body. I regret so much having to buy something that I don't even want. So, always, always don't forget to pack some snacks with you!

- MEALS -
Having 3 normal size meals in a day is much better than snacking all day long. And if you have questions that I mentioned before to pack your snacks that is for those times you don't have the possibility to have a normal meal. And you should never skip meals! To add some more about the meals if you like to cook and if you don't, you should try to plan your meals. I really like doing it and for me planning meals makes it easier.

- STAY ORGANISED -
The last healthy habit that I wan to share with you is try to stay organised and do everything that you need to do before the due date! That is really important. These past few weeks I have been struggling a bit and procrastinating a lot and I felt so bad for not doing what I could have done. So, the major key to succeeding is having everything planned and organised, at least for me. I recently downloaded the Google Calender for all my a school work and other plans. It's super easy to use and I think I will be using it this year a lot.

That is all that I wanted to write about and I am sure I am forgetting something that I wanted to mention, but that would be for another post. Hope you enjoyed it and comment down below what other healthy habits you have!

These amazing avocado toast and soy milk coffee photos were taken in Holy Donut coffee shop in Vilnius.

  1. Wow! These are some really cool tips! Instead of buying snacks that I don’t want, however, I will chew some sugar free gum until I get to my next meal. I really don’t like snacking; it’s frustrating when all I really want is a hot meal instead. Since I cut out snacking, we eat at odd times, but that keeps me from eating bad things and helps me NOT overeat. Thanks for sharing your wisdom. 😀
